How booking works at each chain

This site sells nothing. Every showtime on it is a link to the chain that runs the cinema, and what happens after the tap differs from chain to chain: some land you on the seat map for that exact session, some on the cinema’s own listing where the time is picked again, some behind a login. This page says which is which, and what each chain’s own terms say about accounts, fees and refunds. Where a fact is not verified from the chain itself, it is not here.

What a tap on a time does

Every pill opens in a new tab, so this page is where you left it when you come back. A pill with a small arrow lands on the seat map or ticket picker for that session. Where a chain offers no link to a single session, the row says so in a quiet line (“times open GSC’s site”) and the pill opens that cinema’s own showtime page, or at Dadi the film’s, where the time has to be picked again. A time shown struck through is a session the chain has marked sold out; it stays on the page so you can see the session exists and look for the next one. A pill you have already opened this visit is ticked, so the second and third try after a full house are not guesses.

GSC

• From here: a time opens the cinema’s showtime page on GSC’s site, and the session is picked again there. GSC’s booking page has no address of its own for a session, so no site can link one directly.
• Account: required. GSC’s own FAQ says that to buy through its e-payment you have to register as a GSC member.
• Where to buy: the GSC website, the GSC mobile app, and kiosks at the cinema. Online, up to 12 tickets per transaction on the website and 6 in the app.
• Fees: GSC’s FAQ does not list a booking fee at the time of writing. Any charge is shown before you pay.
• Getting in: a QR code in the app scanned at the checkpoint, a self-printed ticket, or collection at the e-payment counter.
• Refunds: none. GSC states that all internet purchases are confirmed and that refunds, exchanges and cancellations are not entertained.

TGV

• Fees: TGV charges a booking fee of RM0.50 per ticket bought on its website or app; purchases at its kiosks are exempt. For a transaction with no value, such as redeeming a voucher, a minimum fee of RM1.00 applies.
• Refunds: none. Tickets bought through TGV’s sales channels are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged.
• Membership: TGV MovieClub is its rewards scheme, with its own terms.

FST

Amerin

• Connection: One Cinemas’ site answers on plain HTTP only. Its secure address does not connect, so your browser may mark the page as not secure.

10 Star

Blockbuster

• Seats: given on a best-available basis rather than picked from a map, as the ticket page says, up to 10 tickets per transaction.

Grand Cineplex

Dadi

• From here: Dadi’s seat picker has no address of its own, so a time opens the film’s showtimes on Dadi’s site, and the session is picked again there.

For the chains from Amerin down, any account requirement, booking fee or refund rule is the chain’s own and is shown on its site before payment; this site does not restate terms it has not verified.

Two things worth knowing

A session after midnight belongs to the evening before. A 12:30 AM show on the listing for Saturday is Saturday night, not Saturday morning; the site files it under the day the chains do, and marks it as late in the data.

Listings are read from each chain once an hour. A session a cinema changed in the last hour may not have caught up, and the chain’s own page, which every time links to, is the final word. If it is still wrong an hour later, say so.
