In Malaysian cinemas this week

Terbang is showing at 82 cinemas across 14 states and federal territories, with 611 sessions listed between Wednesday 30 September and Tuesday 6 October. Most of those cinemas are in Selangor (20 cinemas), then Kuala Lumpur (13 cinemas). TGV, GSC, Paragon, FST, Mega, AE Cinemas, Dadi, 10 Star, Grand Cineplex and One Cinemas are all screening it; TGV has the most sessions. There are 4DX, Beanieplex, Indulge and Junior sessions as well as standard 2D. Sessions run from 10:15 AM to 11:35 PM.

Karamjit Singh backs *Terbang*

This week’s listings show Terbang in 116 cinemas, with its Malaysian release set for 17 September. The Malay-language action film follows Ajeet’s return to rally racing with Kitt and Imran as PERT seeks a place on the world stage. It is directed by Chiu Keng Guan and stars Irfan Zaini, Jack Tan, Zizan Razak and Namron.

Malay Mail reports that rally legend Karamjit Singh considers the film about 60 per cent true to his life. The report says the story draws on real experiences involving his team, competition and setbacks, while the film presents Ajeet as a character inspired by him. The listings give Terbang a 13 classification and a 135-minute running time, and Malay Mail reports that it will be available in 4DX. Find session details in the showtimes by cinema.
